I love to look at Christmas through the eyes of a child. When a child looks at the Christmas tree and dreams of Santa, gifts, milk and cookies on Christmas Eve you can believe in all things. I remember as a child looking up at the sky for Santa’s Sleigh. My dad would convince all of us that he could see him shooting across the night sky. After that my dad would turn off all the lights and we would just look at the beauty of the Christmas lights. I have so many great memories of those Christmas eve’s.
This picture with our Christmas Set at Gleason Portrait Gallery reminds me of that time. I can almost see my brother Mike just standing in wonder at the lights of Christmas. Christmas is so much bigger than the busy pace of life and getting that perfect gift for the person who has everything already…it is the wonder of a child looking at a Christmas tree.
Enjoy this portrait of one of our Christmas children. I love the timeless pj’s and how he just naturally stood with his hands behind his back. Truly a moment just “caught” and all the more priceless because of it.
Enjoy and have a great start to your Christmas season 🙂
